This Magic Happened in Paris

Dear Lovelies,

I want to tell you a story about how a simple cup of coffee created a beautiful energetic chain reaction of events in Paris.

So I am skipping around Paris, excited to be here to see old friends and places, and I love to walk! I got up early and walked to one of my favourite cafes as they were opening for a coffee. I was first in and all I had in my pocket was a 50 Euro note as I wanted to walk without carrying any weight around. I excitedly ordered my coffee, beaming good vibes to everyone, and the girl in the counter asked if I had anything smaller but I didn't, so I apologised. She then asked if I had a card and I also responded that I didn’t. So she told me I couldn’t have a coffee! The girl next to me in the queue quickly interjected and said, "I will buy you a coffee," and I nearly fell over. In the 20 years I lived in Paris, no one had ever offered me a coffee. I decided to ‘receive’ this beautiful gift and we chatted and I found out she was born in Paris in the 16th arrondissement. This gesture made my day.

About an hour later, I was standing on a street with friends moving the last of some things out of a deposit I had when a man came up to us and very humbly explained that he needed a phone. I watched my friends patiently listening to him and we all felt for him. I remembered I still had the 50 Euros in my pocket and the coffee gesture had had such a huge impact on me that I wanted to pay it forward. I gave it to him and he was moved to tears.

Hours later when I was checking into a hotel, the girl at the front desk happily announced that I was upgraded to their best room and I smiled to myself, thinking that the coffee vibes that morning had kept on giving. To top it off we went to Hotel Costes for dinner without a booking and not only was there a table available for us but we also got the best table in front of the fire.

Everywhere I went, magic happened.

At the end of the day, I had one last job to do and that was to part with a stack of chairs I had had forever. A man was coming to see them. When he arrived with his tape measure, he informed me they weren’t originals and then asked me what I would do with them. I said I would give them away and asked him if he would like them for free! He was shocked and, in a moment of confusion, he insisted he would take them and offered me a price we both were happy with.

So my 50 Euros moved around all day bringing joy to myself and others and at the end of the day, it grew!! The magic of vibration!!

I have come to learn that these situations aren’t accidental. If you would like to learn more about the joy of vibration, I will soon be hosting a new live online workshop, Get Lucky: Mastering Vibration.

All details here.

Love and coffee,

Carla

Thank you Carla.
Your story made me feel happy and have continued hope for humanity.
It also came at a time I was feeling rather despondent at the state of the world and the powers that be.
You reminded me that in the end it all comes down to how we treat others … xx
