The Feminine Journey to Self is Colossal
I love stories.
I am always looking at new ways to tell a story I deeply care about. Sometimes they are my stories, and sometimes they are collective stories, like that of women's journey to self. It's often called the Heroine's journey, and rightly so you often need to connect to your inner Heroine to have the courage to override societal beliefs, behaviours, and learnings to become your most authentic self.
The feminine journey to self is colossal.
Rewilding represents the collective stages from birth to midlife that women share on the road home to self using an allegory of flowers, wild and tamed for each stage.
I believe the ‘God slaps’, the tragedies we perceive as disasters are a call to change, just as cutting a rose bush or pinching out the centre of a sweet pea will invite a plant to grow. When our hearts are smashed to smithereens, when we experience betrayal, health shocks, addictions, grief, loveless marriages, losing our home, or a failed business, they all have a gift in the garbage: an awakening to reconnect with the untamed parts of ourselves.
Innumerable women have told me they believed these moments were suffered alone. Yet I have come to know through hundreds of conversations as a coach, and the many evolutions and breaking apart of my own life and the subsequent ‘putting it back together again' that they are instead shared stages on the way home to our most authentic self.
I longed for my images to feel as though you were standing before a breathtaking universe which mirrors the magic and multi-layers of each of our stories. Each flower was carefully and lovingly selected for its meaning, wildness, colour, texture, shape and form. Then mindfully and thoughtfully placed, sometimes over and over again, until it touched a visceral feeling inside me.
Meet The Goddess Unfurled - Our Innate Gift

Imagine if each new baby girl, as she gets ready to touch down on our earthly shores, was told about her superpower, her own inner Venus, the feminine energy that is innate to her.
How different it would be if we knew that deep within us there is a galaxy of resources just waiting to be of service to us with an otherworldly beauty like the thin silk petals of a peony, the humbleness of pastel ranunculus, and the beauty caught inside ruffled sweet peas.
Venus may be passive, but she’s not weak. Grace is her own special power that has nothing to do with force. She’s an alchemist, a magician, who gives you the spark of inspiration to turn the mundane into the extraordinary.
You may on your journey hear that your inner goddess Venus is often looked down upon as the ‘poor passive second cousin’ to your masculine energy, the ‘doing’ logical, rational, action orientated, and authoritarian part of you.
But never underestimate the power of love, compassion, intuition, beauty, creativity, and emotional intelligence that our feminine energy gives us.
Imagination is the maker of dreams, beauty is our language, and we know that kindness opens doors and paves the way for heartfelt connection.
This mysterious and sensual part of yourself gives you the greatest gift of being ‘awake’ and present in your own life.
I hope this image stays with you as a reminder of your inner magic and beauty.
Please feel free to send this to a friend, daughter, sister, or mother who may need a reminder of her magic.
Love and Light,
