FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When does the course begin?
You will receive instant access to our platform once you confirm your payment. As this is a self-study course it begins when you start work on the modules.
What do you mean by experienced photographer or artist?
I specified experienced photographers as you will need to be able to understand exporting files, enlarging, and handling your images. I do have tutorials for basics such as enlarging your images and exporting from Photoshop or Lightroom but the level of expertise I am speaking to are people who are either willing to learn or are already working with images regularly and doing these procedures.
Is it necessary to start with a body of work?
It isn’t necessary to start with a body of work but I would recommend a very strong desire to make creating a shop or getting your work out there a part of your life moving forward. I have guidance on how to create a body of work that you love or if you already have a body of work, how to articulate it or tighten it up.
I do have two mindset modules on Success and Money so there is support and inspiration to see what has been holding you back and I also have a recommended reading list to continue to inspire you.
Are there any dates or time commitments that I need to be aware of?
No, this is a self-study course designed for you to work at your own pace. It is designed to be completed within 12 months simply so that you can create a working rhythm and deadline and bring your shop and work to life.
How much time do you recommend to put in per week?
Everyone is different as are your lives and schedules. I recommend carving out a time slot each week that is yours to do the material and you keep that appointment with yourself to help you move forward. It could be, for example, two hours a week to work on the material and then you schedule other times in your calendar to take the required action.
Will it work for me?
The outcome really depends on you. How ‘all in’ you are! How willing you are to show up and create work and go through the process of putting it out there and staying with it over a certain period of time. If creating an online shop and presence isn’t something you want to be doing in three years, or having your work out in public is not a burning desire, I would suggest you reconsider purchasing the program as like creating a book or a long term project, it needs time, focus, and love. It’s not a get-rich-quick program. The Walls of Love Self-Study Course is about creating the work you love and a sustainable business.
How much access do I have with Carla and her team?
This is a self-study course so there are NO live calls, question or answer sessions, or email feedback. I have designed the course so that you will be able to get the answers you need on your own.
