Sometimes I feel like the luckiest gal in the world because the most beautiful clients find their way to my door.
Last year as the summer was dying I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing New York Times Bestselling author and spiritual coach the wonderful Sonia Choquette. The cute and humorous Sonia teaches you how to trust your intuition, in her words “we are divine beings endowed with six senses to guide us through life. Sonia insists that we all must rely on our innate sixth senses in order to make the most authentic, well-informed, healthful, and soul-satisfying decisions possible.”
Sonia sprinkled her magic dust everywhere we went in Paris that day, men came up and told her how charming she looked, young boys whistled and I went home thinking differently and maybe a little of that magic dust rubbed off on me. I started to trust my intuition more and I am looking forward to doing one of the beautiful Sonia’s courses soon.
Sonia has written over 18 books that have been translated into 37 different languages and regularly hosts conferences and workshops around the globe. What an inspiration and I feel so fortunate to have had a beautiful day in Paris with her.

Who’s the girl behind the flowers I can here you asking?
It’s the clever Joy Dreyfus and I was so proud and honoured to do this personal branding shoot for her new business.
Joy is born and bred in Paris (yes they do exist), is the ex-fashion editor for Officiel magazine and has a black book that all of us would kill to get our hands on. The great news she has put it to good use.
Joy has created Events Joy and has combined her unique talents honed in the fashion world with her fabulous contacts and mixed them with the world of love, weddings and events to become a wedding/events planner with an edge! Bringing together a list of fashion photographers, fashion make-up artists, stylists and decorators Joy’s aim is to create a wedding far away from the cliche.

Joy and I wanted to create images that would fit with her quirky but beautiful style and that she could use for editorial magazine and blog stories on her new business, across all her social media and on her brand spanking new website. So we headed to some of her favourite ateliers and boutiques in Paris and first stop was the beautiful Roses by Claire. Claire, the sweetest girl on the block, is based in the 9th arrondissement and has a shop full of roses that would make any gals heart sing.

A visit to Delphine Manivet is one of those moments on any girls Parisian bucket list. Imagine the most beautiful wedding dresses of gossamer dreams in a setting of moulded walls and wall to ceiling windows. Well, this too was in Joy’s little black book and has since become my favourite!!

We crossed Paris to a favourite location on the Rive Gauche. Delphine Manivet not only makes exquisite wedding dresses but she has an evening wear and couture line and of course Joy always knows the perfect one to pick. Ouch love this dress.. so good it hurts!!
