Today is a public holiday in France and Paris is sleepy. I ran out of coffee this morning and went searching in the cold and rain and do you think I could find some? No.. Must wait till 9am.
In France and Italy today is known as Toussaints or Tutti Santi, where the whole world grinds to a halt and remembers all saints.
What a great reason for a national holiday, to remember those who gave to others and were responsible for miracles.
If you need a little miracle maybe today is the day..

I wish we had holidays/celebrations like that here in Australia! As you know, this time of year we celebrate horses instead of miracles. However, noone says no to a public holiday and so I gratefully accept Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday. Hmmmm…its just a little bit different to Tutti Santi.
