The snow has gone for now and it’s raining outside. I have the soup on, the heating up high and looking forward to Christmas with Francesco’s family in Puglia. As a photographer I love the rain it creates the most beautiful reflections and makes everything glossy. I took this photo a couple of years ago after dining at L’Entrecote, we walked out onto Boulevard Saint Germain and Brasserie Lipp was a glow.

Carla, thanks for the visit, started following your blog as I really like your shots of Paris, presumably you also have a lot from Italy. Envy you the M8, I have an M2 that comes out on high days and holidays, but as I tend to collect old 35mm cameras, I have a bunch of others I have to use as well.

Ohhh I got a little shiver when I opened this. It's so glossy and gorgeous. This will teach me to stop pouting when it rains while i"m in Paris. I'm going to venture out and try and get something half this good!

Regarding your question about my photos. It's actually two copies of the same photo but I used an editing effect called ortonish on the bottom one. The camera was a Canon 500D with a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens.
