24 Hours in Copenhagen with Anya Adores

Gorgeous Anya of the wonderful blog of Anya Adores brings us daily inspiration from Copenhagen with her wonderful photos. Today she shares what to do if you land in Copenhagen and have 24 hours……Over to Anya!

Hello everyone, this is Anya from Anya Adores. When Carla asked me to do a guest-post I got so very excited and honoured to be featured here. I work in PR, and as a blogger & newbie photographer. I live in Copenhagen with my English husband and our 2 lovely girls. Here is what I would do if I had 24 hours in Copenhagen:

My day would start of with some shopping at Strøget – which is our mile long shopping street, with everything your heart could desire. Afterwards I’d really need a coffee at Café Paludan. The café has an impressive book selection, and started out selling books to the students. A great place with great ambiance.
One of my favorite things to do is just go for a walk, take in the local colour, the amazing architecture, and our city is perfect for that. Amazing rows of pastel coloured houses everywhere makes for great photography.
Did I mention we go everywhere by bike. The whole place caters for cyclist, and you can ‘rent’ your own citybike several places in town for around 2€ – and off you go. And don’t be scared, we have cyclist paths all over town.
In the Summer we have some great flea markets, with treasures for everyone. I adore the market on ‘Gammel strand’ – it’s so pretty there.

Relaxing in the afternoon I would buy a nice picnic at Torvehallerne and go to HC Østeds Parken –  a great place for kids, as it has 2 amazing playgrounds.

To finish my day off in style – I would head to Tivoli gardens, and have dinner here at Nimb Restaurant. Afterwards I would go for walk in Tivoli as dusk settles. Wonderful Copenhagen indeed.
I hope you enjoyed my Copenhagen trip. There is so much more to see and do so please check this for my top tips for Copenhagen. Thanks Carla for having me.
♡ Anya
